The small hatchback will mark its official on-sale date in in a new curtain-raising attraction for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Five of the Full-hybrid models will be exhibiting in Goodwood's Moving Motor Show on 1 July. A hundred prospective owners attending the event as Toyota guests and enjoying an exclusive test drive

80 of the test drivers will be drawn from those expressing early interest in the car via the Toyota customer web site. They will be the first, who will experience Toyota Auris Hybrid's high efficient performance. The driving route includes the famous hillclimb course.

The extraordinary fuel efficiency of Auris Hybrid puts the car in road tax-free. The vehicle emits only 89g/km CO2 emissions and does the amazing 74.3mpg.The car is built at Toyota's Burnaston factory in Derbyshire, and with a petrol engine produced at its Deeside plant in North Wales.

Toyota Auris Hybrid is the first car from the brand, which is entirely manufactured in Europe. However, there is no doubt that the quality will be at high levels as it is in Japan.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will be held from 2 to 4 July 2010.
