2013 Mercedes-Benz GL is to be offered in three models: the GL 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC with V6 diesel engine, the V8 petrol-engined GL 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY, and the high-performance GL 63 AMG variant with V8 biturbo petrol engine. This Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG 2.0 turbo is in fact an early preview of the new completely redesigned high-performance Mercedes-Benz A-Class model enhanced by AMG. There are not a lot of details around this model. However we can expect around 370 hp (272 kW) and 300 pound-feet (222 Nm) of torque.

Diehard Top Gear fans remember the times when the power lap board was pretty clean and simple – the Pegani Zonda C12 S took the lead right from the start and dominated the Top Gear Test track for 3 whole seasons. Mercedes-Benz will offer SLS AMG Matt Limited Edition in Japan. It will be priced from ¥30 000 000 (around €299 000).
The special edition SLS will come with a exterior with a black soft top and red accents on the grille, wheels and fuel-filler cap. The interior will boasts red and black leather upholstery, a sports steering wheel and special floor mats.

To us, stripping off the paint from a car, then adding a matte gray shade, black wheels, LEDs and a strip of carbon-fiber for aerodynamics is not really a project. But there you go: The Project Stratos by SR Auto – a Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG (W219) that's in a “Smoldering Grey” coat actually.
6.2-liters of pure V8 power, 514 bhp and 630 Nm of torque – a brilliant 4.5 second 0-62 mph runner. It's also one of the last modern-day performance cars that do not come with daytime-running LED lights as standard.
