The new "mini" in Opel's range, called ADAM, now gets even more individual than before. The company has added new technologies and features that have extended the ADAM family. For instance, there is this Swing Top canvas roof that now comes as a standard in the "Swingtop" trim. The customers will also enjoy the optional Glam Extreme Package ‘Hashtag' and the Easytronic 3.0. The latter is the newest automated transmission developed by Opel.

Pure open-air pleasure can now be achieved thanks to the new Swing top. This trim level of the model will be based on the ADAM JAM configuration. The roof retracts to the C-pillar at the touch of a button for only five seconds and it can be closed up to speeds of 140 km/h.

The materials used include a central neoprene layer, which make the Swing Top robust and durable. And don't worry about the noise. The entire roof module is acoustically tuned for good insulation inside the cabin.

Next, the newly developed Easytronic 3.0 completes ADAM's transmission range. This automated gearbox benefits from enhanced efficiency and shortened response times. When Easytronic is combined with the 87 hp (64 kW) 1.4-liter naturally aspirated engine, it reduces fuel consumption by up to 0.4 liters per 100 kilometers for the combined cycle (when compared to a five-speed manual).

The CO2 reduction is equivalent to 10 grams per kilometer. In other words ADAM 1.4 ecoFLEX with Start/Stop needs only 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers and emits just 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

At last, Opel has also extended the color palette for the bodywork colors with ‘Forget about Grey' and ‘Greenfellas' shades. This means that customers can choose from a total of 19 different bodywork colors.

Opel ADAM Swingtop has a starting price of 14,990 euro.
