As we know, the old BMW M5 (the E60 model) is one of the most unreliable vehicles on the market. It has a lot of problems with all kind of electrical features. Still, it was a great car.

Horrible accident happened on the Autobahn in Germany. A BMW 3-Series Hybrid Prototype crashed severely in a truck. The driver of the car had no passengers, but he is not alive. The crash was on September 21 on the A92 near the automaker’s Dingolfing factory.The test driver obviously was running the 3-Series Hybrid at high speeds while passing several trucks and one of them pulled out. BMW actually brought a real M3 GT2 art car on the cliffs of Preikestolen in Norway. The car was airlifted after two days waiting for weather that would allow them to put the specially painted car by Jeff Koons.
There is no real reason for this strange photoshoot, but the photographer gathered all the visitors on the cliff around the car and done the pictures.

BMW has announced their new entry level of 1-Series hatchback. The 114d model is going to be one of the cheapest BMWs on the market, but still offering sheer driving pleasure.
The 2013 BMW 1-Series 114d is powered by a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder diesel engine featuring Twin Power Turbo technology. It produces 95 HP (70 kW) at 4,000 RPM and 235 Nm (173 lb-ft) of torque available at 1,500 RPM. 0-100 km/h in 12.2 seconds and a top speed of 185 km/h (115 mph).

BMW has unveiled a special edition of the new 5-Series F10 M5. The Police Car model is exhibited at the Welt Museum in Munich, Germany. It looks exactly like a cop car - traditional livery, a black grille and a light bar.
However, this is just a prototype and luckily for street racers, the police won’t use this car ... for now!
