Chrysler Canada’s sales grew seven percent in May (27,325 units) and extended the unprecedented streak of year-over-year sales increases to 22 consecutive months. May sales were driven by Chrysler’s one-two punch of their all-new minivans and the newly crowned most popular crossover in Canada, the Dodge Journey. GM Holden will provide 75 cars to the Australasian Road Rescue Organisation (ARRO) for emergency skills training on the Gold Coast later this week.
A combination of VE Commodore sedans, VZ Commodore wagons and WM Statesman and Caprice models will be used by ARRO for the Australasian Rescue Challenge 2008 from 6-8 June. When new, these vehicles would have an estimated retail value of approximately $3 million.

Seoul - GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GM Daewoo) announced today that Kim Tae-wan, Managing Director for Design Operations, has been promoted to Vice President for Design, effective June 1.
Kim was appointed to his previous post in February 2007. He joined GM Daewoo in January 2006 as Director of Advanced Design.In November 2006, he was appointed Director of Exterior Design.

Ten Bentley Graduate Trainees have challenged themselves to complete a 24-hour, 200 mile sponsored run from the Bentley Motors factory in Crewe, Cheshire, to the historic Brooklands Race Circuit in Weybridge, Surrey.
The charity run in aid of Leukaemia Research at Manchester Royal Infirmary will take place over three days from 10th to 12th June 2008 with the team members running 48-minute relays covering 7 miles each over 8 hours each day.

American Honda Motor Co., Inc., May sales of 167,997, up 11.3 percent on a daily-selling-rate basis(1), shattered the company's all-time sales record for any month as Civic sales reached 53,299, up 28.3 percent versus last May and surpassing the previous monthly record for any car in the lineup.

Whitby, Ontario. BMW Group Canada reported today record May sales of 3,324 BMW and MINI vehicles, up 6.1% over May 2007. Year-to-date BMW and MINI sales are 10,622 units, a slight decrease of 3.3% over the same period last year.
The BMW brand set a new May sales record of 2,747 units, up 1.0% over May last year. Year-to-date, 8,892 BMWs have been sold, a slight 6.4% decline over last year.
