WD-40 and SEMA Cares created custom Mustang
The WD-40 maintenance and cleaning products are probably the most famous in the world. The company teamed up with SEMA Cares (charity division), to create a custom Mustang, which will be exhibited at the tuning event and auctioned to help children's charities.
The project is based on the 2011 Mustang GT, which is powered by 5.0 liter V8 with supercharger. It develops 600hp and comes with a special body kit, custom interior with a high-end entertainment system and a paint that emulates the WD-40 brand.
WD-40 and SEMA Cares are partnering with a lot of aftermarket auto and technology companies that will donate parts, equipment and services for the project. Some of these companies are Street Scene Equipment, Stillen AP Racing, , Forgeline wheels and Paxton.
Other companies, which will take part in the building process: PhotoTouch and Polk Audio; Inc.; Audio Innovations; California Pony Cars; Hotchkis Suspension; Cie Games; GTR High Performance; Katzkin Leather; L&G Enterprises; Nitto; PPG Industries; Advanced Clutch Technology.
