2013 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is the new trim level which joins the Tiguan line-up with unique features and sportier styling. The new model is based on the SE modification bud adds some significant features.

For instance, such are the bi-xenon headlights, 18-inch ‘Mallory' alloy wheels, painted in Sterling Silver with black wheelarch extensions, body-coloured unique front and rear ‘R' design bumpers and rear spoiler, an R-Line logo on the front grille and aluminium front door sills with R-Line logo.

Furthermore, the new Volkswagen model has an improved interior environment. Inside, the front sport seats are in two-tone upholstery. In addition, there can also be seen the R-Line logo on the front head restraints, leather multifunction steering wheel with aluminium inlay and R-Line logo and stainless steel pedals.

More importantly, the R-Line is available with Tiguan's three most powerful engines: the 2.0-litre TSI with 210 hp (155 kW) and 4MOTION four-wheel drive, the 2.0-litre common rail TDI engine with either 140 hp (103 kW) or 170 hp (125 kW) and 4MOTION.

No matter the engine choice, the vehicle is fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as a standard. Carbon dioxide emissions for all models are under 200 g/km.
