If you are well know to the work of the experts at mcchip-dkr, then you should also know what they are capable of. And it is nothing less than stock, if you know what I mean. And all thanks to the highly developed chip tuning they develop specifically for every project.

Strangely enough, mcchip-dkr thinks that AMG GT and AMG GT S are "underpowered". Just to mention (and of course for a later comparison), the stock power of the GT variant is 462 HP (340 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of maximum torque, while its Vmax is positioned at 304 kmph (188 mph). If you wonder how much horses the GT S can push, there you go: 510 serial HP (375 kW) and 650 serial Newton meters. The top speed here is 310 kmph (192 mph).

As you can see the capabilities of the AMG 4.0 liters V8 petrol engine equipped with bi-turbo charger are enormous. The question is therefore is whether such chip tuning is necessary. As it comes to power, especially regarding such iconic cars, the answer should be always positive.

When "Stock" is NOT Enough

With the help of software, the fellows at mcchip-dkr have created significantly more force for these two jewels. And note that the impressive end result is only due to the modifications of the engine map.

All right, after the uprating has been completed, these proud mcchip-dkr Mercedes-AMG GT and GT S can now show-off with same force. This means that the V8 in both can now produce up to 590 HP (434 kW) and 750 Nm (534 lb-ft) of optimum torque. The top speed was also enhanced to 320 kmph (198 mph). While the stock acceleration time for the GT S was rated at 3.8 seconds, after the power enhancement it has been reduced with 0.2 seconds to the staggering 3.6 seconds.

Well, this is a nice thing to do to your GT S, isn't it?
