Maserati has announced that its astonishing soft-top convertible ride – the Maserati GranCabrio - will hit officially the Australian and New Zealand market from 1 July 2010. Representing a unique combination of the Italian brand's finest luxury styling, the Maserati GranCabrio premium ride made its public debut last year at the famous Frankfurt Motor Show.

Under the masculine body, the mean luxury convertible sports a 4.7-liter V8 powerplant that produces the massive 440 horsepower and 490 Nm of peak torque, linked to a ZF automatic six-speed gearbox. Thanks to these high-end elements, the GranCabrio covers the classic 0-100km/h acceleration sprint in only 5.4 seconds, before reaching its V-max of 282km/h. Packed with the longest wheelbase on the market - 2,492mm, the car also ensures smooth and joyful driving experience.

The price list for the "the land down under" is still unavailable, but if we take in mind the prices from the UK market for example, we can expect something around 168,651.55 AUD.
