Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, the automaker's ultra-light yet extremely powerful model is officially confirmed for UK debut at this year's Salon Prive event at Syon Park.

2011 Salon Prive will open its doors for the public from June 22nd – 24th, displaying some of the world's most attractive and powerful rides. Celebrating its sixth edition, this year the occasion will feature a larger Concours d'Elegance and a ‘Quintessentially English' RM Auction.

The GranTurismo MC Stradale by Maserati is a pure-blooded, road-legal athlete inspired by the brand's Trofeo GranTurismo MC racecar and their race-winning GT4 car. Boasting a tempting price tag of 155 000 Euros, the ride houses a 4.7-liters V8 plant with 450 horsepower and 510 Nm of peak torque, 10 horsepower and 20 Nm more than the GranTurismo S model, while is 110 kg lighter. Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds flat, and has a V-max of over 300 km/h.
