How to Hijack a Jeep Cherokee Over the Internet? [VIDEO]
Jeep Cherokee models are one of the most famous SUVs around the United States. The fact that many are eager on driving one is indisputable. We found a very interesting video on YouTube, recently published by WIRED's official page. It previewed how Andy Greenberg's SUV gets hijacked… by hackers over the internet.
If you think that this isn't possible, well, given that the technologies are developing unsteadily fast, it is no surprise that people are capable of doing it. The video below shows how two hackers have developed a tool that can remotely kill a Jeep on the highway.

While, WIRED's senior writer, Andy Greenberg, takes the 2014 Jeep for a spin, the hackers were capable of sabotaging it from miles away. In fact, the duo developed the software for this particular model for over a year and it does not require any hardware change to the SUV.
Interestingly enough, there are no devices attached to the SUV that will allow a remote control. However, the Cherokee had a weakness, through which both hackers could attack it over the internet.
