The much anticipated Honda Civic Type R EURO is announced for sale in Japan. Born for the European roads, the stylish premium sports model will be available in limited number of only 2,010 units for Japan.

The Civic Type R EURO premium sports vehicle is fitted with a specially designed, 2.0l naturally aspirated engine that produces maximum output power of 201PS (148kW) / 7,800rpm paired with a responsive, 6-speed manual transmission. A lighter and more rigid body shell, tuned suspension and 18-inch wheels contributes to Type R EURO's great road performance. The British-built 3-door hot hatch's aerodynamic form is further enhanced by custom aerodynamic components , while the interior is moded with a special small-diameter, 3-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum ball-type shift knob, and Honda R spec seats.
