GMC Elevation Edition Promises Enhanced Functionality and Comfort
The well-known GMC Sierra Elevation Edition comes back for 2016 with additional styling enhancements, hi-tech features and numerous more improvements for the whole 1500 lineup. These upgrades include a restyled front-end and fresh and high-intensity discharge protection-beam headlamps and of course the GMC Signature LED lighting.
The special Elevation Edition also offers that sweet street-smart stance, thanks to the body colors, door handles and grille surroundings, along with the restyled bumpers. And let's not forget the stylish 20-inch black-painted aluminum wheels which fits perfectly with the enhanced Elevation Edition badging.
On the other hand, the interior of the Elevation edition offers the latest and greatest technology gadgets and ensures connectivity, flexibility and comfort. The cabin is now geared with a special 7-inch-screen with incorporated CarPlay or Android Auto systems and of course, IntelliLink touch screen, OnStar 4G LTE and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot which allows connectivity for up to seven different devices at the same time.
Furthermore, all Sierra Elevation Edition vehicles include a special remote keyless entry system, remote locking tailgate, outside heated power-adjustable mirrors and a special 110-volt AC power outlet. How cool is that?
And along with the sweet gadgets and refreshed style, the lineup is geared with a 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 unit that delivers a total of 285 hp (209 kW) and 305 lb-ft of torque as a standard equipment. And for the people who are still not satisfied, the brand also offers a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine that produces 355 hp (261 kW) and offers up to 9,400 pounds of trailering capacity. Furthermore, customers can choose between a two- and four-wheel-drive system.
So, it looks good, sound good and will drive good. What else do we need?
The GMC Sierra Elevation Edition will go on sale in the first quarter of 2016.
