2013 Ford EcoSport SUV Makes Debut in Paris
2013 Ford EcoSport SUV is finally making a European debut in the one of the most beautiful cities – Paris. In general, the EcoSport combines the agility, affordability and fuel efficiency of a small car with the flexibility and spaciousness of an SUV.
The new Ford SUV is based on B-segment platform and will be available for purchase in 18 months from now. The vehicle will feature the award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine and will line up alongside all-new Kuga and later Ford Edge.
In fact, the EcoSport is entirely developed in South America and was launched in Brazil earlier this month. The surprising performance with excellent efficiency is due to the innovative 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, which we have first seen on the Focus model. Later the efficient engine was introduced to the B-MAX, C-MAX, Grand C-MAX and eventually to the new Mondeo.
The distinctive and aerodynamic Ford EcoSport will be equipped with a large front grille; slim, detailed headlights; and cladding on the side sills and bumpers, SYNC in-car connectivity system, Emergency Assistance, anti-lock brake system, Electronic Stability Program, and Hill Launch Assist.
