Jeep Crew Chief 715Jeep is previewing seven new concept vehicles fitted with Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts that will conquer the famous trails of Moab, Utah, at Easter Jeep Safari. The 50th annual event will take place between 19th and 27th March and it also coincides with the 75th birthday of the automotive brand.

Due to the addition of Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts these concept vehicles offer unique performance parts and individuality. And here they are:

Jeep Crew Chief 715

This is a concept vehicle built to pay homage to the legendary Jeep military service vehicles like the Kaiser M715. It is base on an open-air Wrangler Unlimited, features burly design with heritage styling cues, rear sear construction and extra doors for additional passenger capacity. The model is also equipped with steel front and rear bumpers, 20-inch beadlock wheels and 40-inch NDT military tires.

Other exterior styling cues include Jeep Performance Parts off-road rock rails, a winch mounted into the front and rear bumpers, Dana 60 front and rear axles and a 4-inch lift kit with Jeep Performance Parts/Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir shocks, give the Crew Chief 715 increased capability. For an exterior color the designers have chosen the "Tactical Green" color that runs from the front-end to the tailgate. The vehicle also has a military themed 5-foot cargo bed.

Furthermore, the Crew Chief 715 uses an on-board air system with a hard-mounted quick-disconnect fitting in order to lend assistance to other vehicles on the trail. The master cylinder brake upgrade, cold air intake and a modified exhaust are also features to mention.

On the inside, there are leather bucket seats with canvas inserts, aircraft-inspired control switches and Mopar all-weather mats. Under the hood, the Crew Chief 715 is equipped with 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that drives the four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Shortcut

Jeep Shortcut

This is a Jeep Wrangler based concept that was inspired by the Jeep CJ-5 from the 50s. The model is called Shortcut, because it features shortened body (12-inch reduction in body length). The most prominent exterior styling cues include one-off grille, hood, tailgate, front and rear wheel flares and custom chrome front and rear bumpers, modified exhaust, 17-inch red steel wheels and 35-inch BF-Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires. There are also Jeep Performance Parts here including front and rear Dana 44 axle and a 2-inch lift with Fox shocks.

On the inside, the interior is functional and includes low-back leather bucket seats with plaid inserts, a red ball shifter handle, four-point safety cage and Mopar all-weather mats. Jeep Shortcut is driven by the same powertrain and transmission as the previous concept.

Jeep Renegade Commander

Jeep Renegade Commander

A lot of Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts are featured in this concept. First we see the "Fluorescent Gray" exterior and then the 2-inch lift kit and 17-inch Rubicon aluminum wheels with 29.5-inch BF-Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. In addition, on the outside the car includes MySky open-air roof with removable panels, custom body decal, Mopar off-road rock rails, skid plates and a modified exhaust as well as Mopar trailer hitch receiver and front and rear auxiliary lights.

The interior here is fitted with Katzkin seat covers, body color bezel accents, a pedal kit, Mopar off-road kit and Mopar all-weather floor mats. Unlike the previous two concepts, the Jeep Renegade Commander has a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine with MultiAir2 that is connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission featuring Jeep Active Drive Low.

Jeep Comanche

Jeep Comanche

Jeep Comanche is based on the Renegade and pays tribute to the pickup trucks of past. On the outside it is painted with "Beige Against the Machine" paint that is further accented with a Satin Black hood, a concept lower front fascia, winch, steel rear bumper, soft top and there is also a spare tire in the bed. The wheelbase has been stretched an additional 6-inches.

The cabin of the Comanche can show-off with custom seat covers, pedal covers, door sill guards and Mopar all-weather mats, and of course Jeep Performance Parts: off-road rock rails, a 2-inch lift kit and a winch bolster the Comanche's off-road capability. The concept rides on 16-inch painted wheels coupled with 32-inch BF-Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires, and is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel I-4 engine fitted with 9-speed automatic transmission with Jeep Active Drive Lock.

Jeep FC 150

Jeep FC 150

Inspired by the Cj-5 from the 50s and 60s, the Jeep FC 150 concept is actually based and built on the original steel body of the model (you can see the scars). Of course, the FC 150's off-road prowess has been strengthened with modified 2005 Jeep Wrangler and also includes Dana 44 front axle, Dana 60 rear axle and 17-inch white steel wheels wrapped in 33-inch BF-Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires. Under the hood, there is the 4.0-liter PowerTech I-6 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The cabin of this rather unusual concept vehicle includes vinyl seat covers, a custom headliner wrapped in a vintage duck hunting pattern, CB radio, analog compass and Mopar mats.

Jeep Trailcat

Jeep Trailcat

This is the ultimate off-road machine, because it is driven by a 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that has a custom shifter ball with an embossed Hellcat logo. The engine required a stretched wheelbase by an additional 12 inches, while at the same time the windshield was chopped with two inches for a sleeker look. Mopar exterior enhancements feature power-dome vented hood, Satin Black grille, LED headlamps and fog lamps and rock rails.

Other exterior goodies are steel front and rear bumpers, 17-inch beadlock wheels and 39.5-inch BF-Goodrich Krawler T/A KX tires, front and rear Dana 60 axles and Fox shocks, the Hellcat decal on the front quarter panels and the "Trailcat" decal on the side of the hood. On the inside we get a functional interior with Dodge Viper's sport bucket seats made from carbon fiber and featuring Katzkin leather seat covers with contrasting stitching.

Jeep Trailstorm

Jeep Trailstorm

At last but not least, the seventh vehicle is the Trailstorm concept based on the Wrangler Unlimited. It offers additional space for extra gear and fuel tanks, and is fitted with several Jeep Performance Parts, including 17-inch concept off-road wheels wrapped in 37-inch tires, a 2-inch lift kit with Jeep Performance Parts/Fox shocks, a Jeep Performance Parts Rubicon winch, and Dana 44 front and rear axles. And have you spotted the half doors?

The other exterior enhancements come from Mopar and they feature winch guard, Satin Black grille, LED headlights and fog lights, high top fenders, power-dome vented hood, Mopar off-road rock rails with a step, Big Brake Kit, a concept fast-back soft top, tail light guards and a Mopar fuel filler door. Rounding out the exterior are the steel front and rear Rubicon bumper and a Jeep Performance Parts tire carrier as well as the entire camouflage wrapping.

On the inside, the interior also includes Katzkin seat covers and Mopar mats; and just like the first two concepts the Trailstorm is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
