When you think about muscle cars, Dodge is the name that comes to mind at first. The Challenger has been an iconic offering from the brand that has stood the test of time. These cars are known for their powerful engines, incredible road presence, and excellent drivability. With the new model unveiled recently, they show no signs of stopping in taking their iconic series to the next level with every new model. What are the changes that the new model is offering? Does it still look and perform as well as the original vintage models? Let's find out.

External Design

The iconic model has retained its original design that is known and loved. The addition of various finishes and colour options has been added to the 2023 model.

The air intake vent on the hood is offered for all variants of this car, and it is a very cool design element with functional and aesthetic benefits. In fact, it is one of the signature design elements of the vehicle.

Other than the design, there are a boatload of features attached to the exterior design too, including remote trunk opening, automatic sensing rain wipers, and an integrated antenna. Apart from that, you also have the option of adjustable headlights, an adjustable rear view mirror, and a centrally mounted fuel tank.

Interior Design

The interiors of this all-American car focus on utilising the large dimensions of this car to provide a spacious cabin and a comfortable 5-seater vehicle. The interiors are plush, with quality seats that are comfortable even for long rides.

Given the strength of the engine in this car, the interiors are not very quiet, but it doesn't take much away from the ride experience of this car, so you can forgive the fact.

Engine & Drivability

The engine is the star of the show with this car. The 2023 model reintroduces the V6 engine option for the Challenger series again. You also have the insanely powerful V8 Hemi option for the engine that can generate a whopping 485 horsepower.

The 2023 model also ensures a 4-wheel drive on all variants, which just makes the pot sweeter for buyers because it improves the off-road performance of this car.

Features & Safety

In terms of features, this car is loaded with all the standard safety and infotainment features you come to expect, including driver airbag, passenger airbag, side airbag-front, anti-lock braking system, brake assist, vehicle stability control system, rear seat belts, seat belt warning, height adjustable front seat belts, rear camera, parking sensors, crash sensor, front impact beams, side impact beams, door ajar warning, traction control, tyre pressure monitor and engine check warning, and outside temperature display.

Getting this car is a dream for many, and with the option of the V6 engine and the slight price drop it offers, many will be able to get their hands on this car finally. If you live in Singapore, make sure you get an international driving license Singapore before you purchase this car because you might need to drive it into Singapore from the Philippines.
