2016 Subaru OutbackSubaru of America, Inc. announced that the 2016 Outback won the US News & World Report Best Wagon for Families prize as part of the 2016 Best Cars for Families awards. The award was given, considering the fact that the vehicle offers incredible "go anywhere" capability, spacious and cozy cabin, plenty of luggage space and tons of utility and safety features.

Also, the vehicle was recognized as a winner because of the incredible Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system that sends power to all wheels at the same time and always keeps maximum traction. In terms of slippery conditions, the system immediately sends power to the wheels with best traction and helps the driver get out of trouble.\

And let's not forget the key element here: the engine. The Outback is geared with SUBARU BOXER power unit with horizontal layout that allows low center of gravity and enhanced balance. The engine is further paired to Subaru's Continuously Variable Transmission which ensures smooth gear shifts and overall pleasurable ride with the ability to eliminate up and down shift feeling of the conventional automatic transmission systems.

Other notable Outback features that contributed to the final victory include EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, Subaru STARLINK in-vehicle platform for entertainment and connectivity.
