2014 Ford Mustang SVT Shelby GT500 managed to make a lap around Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 39 seconds.

Shelby GT500 is powered by 5.8 liter supercharged V8 – 662HP (494 kW) and 855Nm (631 lb-ft). The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox. 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). ¼ mile in 11.6 seconds with 201 km/h (125 mph) terminal speed. The curb weight is 1,750 kg (3,850 lbs).

The sports car also features large Brembo brake system, re-tuned suspension, electronic launch control and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
