Volkswagen has announced the price list for the new 2011 Jetta EU. The entry-level S 1.4-litre TSI 122 PS is priced at £16 960 and the 2.0-litre TDI with DSG will cost you £22 320.

However, all cars come with air conditioning, an MP3 compatible CD stereo, six airbags, ABS, Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), an alarm and folding rear seats as standard.

The engine range includes 1.4 litre TSI with either 122PS or 140PS and two diesel versions - 1.6 litre TDI with 105PS and 2.0 litre TDI with 140PS.The diesels are extremely efficient and those equipped with BlueMotion Technology achieve superb results - 67.3 mpg on the combined cycle while emitting just 109 g/km of CO2.

2011 Jetta is available with three trim levels - S, SE and Sport.
