Few weeks after the world premiere of the newly developed 5.0-liter V8 2011 Ford Mustang GT, Steeda, one of the largest manufacturers of Ford aftermarket performance parts has announced that it is working on a program for the long anticipated pony-ride. Now, the guys at Steeda are proud to present us that high-end program, which bears the name 2011 Steeda Sport Edition 5.0L Mustang.

Despite of the program's benefits - significantly improved handling, driving dynamics and overall vehicle performance, the entry level Steeda 5.0L Mustang is priced at under $40,000.

On the visible area, the Steeda Stang sports a sleek, aerodynamic hood, sidewinder graphics, rear aero wing and a set of aggressive 20-inch Spyder alloys fitted with Nitto NT05 high-performance tires in the dimensions 275/35/20. In addition to these new eye-candy extras, the refined 5.0L Mustang also benefits from the Steeda sport springs, which secure extraordinary driving experience.

In the terms of performance, Steeda retrofits the 5.0-liter 4V Ti-VCT V8 aluminum block via a specially engineered Cold Air Intake (CAI) unit combined with a state-of-the-art SCT X3 Flash Programmer, ensuring 44 horsepower and 52 ft.lbs. increase to the factory 412 horses @ 6,500 rpm (est.) and 390 lb.-ft. of peak torque @ 4,250 rpm (est.).
