Ford to premiere restyled Ranger at the Australian Motor Show
Ford has announced officially its intentions to premiere a highly enhanced version Ford Ranger compact pickup at this year's Australian International Motor Show, on October 15, 2010. The restyled Ford small truck is completely developed in Australia and represents the latest wave of global products driven by the ONE Ford strategy.
Joe Hinrichs, president, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa, shares: "Australia has played a leading role in the development of this latest global Ford product. Ranger is symbolic of how our great product development capability is being leveraged by the ONE Ford plan like never before."
At the show, Blue Oval's fans will have the unique chance to see for first time the next-generation compact pickup without its camouflage. Fitted with exclusively massive and neat styling, the all-new Ford Ranger will be marketed in more than 180 countries.
On performance level, the Ranger compact pickup truck is about to offer a smart blend of power and fuel economy, achieved via brand's new engine family. Furthermore, as a true Ford and a pickup truck, the next-generation Ranger will showcase top levels of towing and payload capacity. On the inside, its cabin ambience is promised to bring a spacious, comfortable, feature-filled interior styling expected only from a car.
