Ford is introducing an amazingly high-end package for the 2011 Ford Mustang, which draws its inspiration by Vaughn Gittin Jr., the driver of the Monster Energy/Falken Tire 2011 Mustang GT in the Formula Drift series. Dubbed RTR, the newly engineered pack will be available via few selected Ford dealerships and will provide significant performance and appearance improvements that allow the pony car lovers to gain even more driving experience.

The new RTR package is dealer-installed and builds on the incredible qualities of the 2011 Ford Mustang. In the performance area, it sports Ford Racing calibration with a high-flow filter and high-performance Falken FK-452 tires, which offer more precise handling, superior grip and high-speed stability. In addition to that, the RTR package also includes unique Mustang RTR 19x9.5-inch wheels set, Ford Racing mufflers and specially-developed handling pack (performance-tuned dampers and springs).

In the field of styling and aerodynamics, the Mustang RTR spotlights a new chin spoiler with splitter, rocker splitters, a rear diffuser and aluminum rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, a race-inspired Mustang RTR stripe scheme adds more distinction and further strengthens the styling impact from the new RTR-exclusive floor mats, shifter knob and emblems.
