At the Autosport International Racing Car Show in Birmingham, Ford has revealed the official color scheme for the 2011-specificications Fiesta RS World Rally Car which will represents the renowned brand in the FIA World Rally Championship.

The official outer dress of the bold Fiesta RS WRC was unveiled by the Ford team driver Mikko Hirvonen and Gerard Quinn, the Ford of Europe motorsport chief.

At the occasion, Ford also confirmed new name and logo for the WRC squad - Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team. Further sponsors for the team will be Castrol.

Gerard Quinn said: "The preview version of the car we unveiled in September at the 2010 Paris Motor Show was dramatic in its blue and grey livery, developed specifically for the show by Ford of Europe's design team. But now we have a fully finished car in a really eye-catching new livery plus a new team name, and excitement is building throughout the squad as we prepare for the opening round in Sweden next month."

The 2011 Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car is developed by the brand's British-based rally partner M-Sport and is based upon the Fiesta S2000 rally car, which won the legendary Monte Carlo Rally in January 2010 and other international and national rallies during the season. It utilizes four-wheel drive transmission and a 1.6-liters turbocharged plant.
