2011 Chevrolet Captiva will hit the UK market in May. The SUV will be offered with a choice between a FWD and an AWD system, 7-seats and a 2.2 VCDi engine. There will be three trim levels - LS, LT and LTZ. Both transmissions will be offered - manual and automatic.

2011 Chevrolet Captiva UK is priced at 21 995 GBP for the entry model and the price goes all the way up to 31 845 GBP for the top-of-range - 2.2 VCDi (184PS) AWD LTZ version.

The standard equipment is not bad at all -  ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS (Traction Control System and BAS (Braking Assist System), Aux-in, USB-port, Bluetooth, power-folding mirrors and speed sensitive power steering.

The SUV can be ordered with touch-screen navigation system with rear view camera for parking assistance.

The engine range includes the new 2.2 litre common rail turbo diesel with 163 or 184hp and 2.4 litre dual overhead petrol with VVT and 171hp.
