Cadillac has announced its all-new 2011 CTS-V Sport Wagon, which will be the main attraction at the brand's booth at the 2010 New York International Auto Show. The new V-Series performance addition blends amazingly the luxury and perfection of the stunning CTS-V Sport Sedan with the dramatic styling and sophisticated look of the CTS Sport Wagon.

Don Butler, vice president for Cadillac marketing says..."The CTS-V Sport Wagon is a natural extension of both the V-Series and the CTS lineup, offering an uncompromising performance car to enthusiasts who want the extra room of a wagon. The V-Series Sport Wagon is another hallmark of the dramatic presence and power of Cadillac vehicles."

On the outside, the vehicle boasts fresh Midnight Silver shade underlined by shiny Liquid Silver-completed light alloy rims and a black chrome finish on the grille's mesh insert. At the rear, it packs newly shaped upper spoiler and a brand-new, sleek center high-mounted stop lamp.

In the athletic ride's cabin, the atmosphere manifests luxury and excellence, it is trimmed in exclusive black leather with Alcantara accents. The top section of the instrument panel and upper door panels are finished in the same high-end leather, accented with midnight Sapele wood, while the microfiber material and stitching is applied to the lower door panels, pillars, console lid, headliner and steering wheel center. The CTS-V Wagon cabin also renders fine-grain black leather-trimmed Recaro seats with Alcantara seat inserts. Obsidian Black accents grace the center stack, console, steering wheel and door panels.

Just like the sporty sedan and mighty coupe models, the new CTS-V Sport Wagon sports a supercharged 6.2-litres V8 power unit, which is enough powerful to produce the astonishing number of 556 horsepower (415 kW). The engine is mated by either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. A huge range of technical and performance features complement the powertrain, including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires.

The 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon will make its market debut in late 2010, with initial sales in North America, followed by export markets including Europe and the Middle East.
