BMW has released the US market price details on its recently premiered, second-generation compact crossover ride BMW X3, which is about to hit the brand's dealerships by the end of the year. Boasting a MSRP of 37,625 USD for the 240-horsepower X3 xDrive28i and 41,925 USD for the turbocharged, 300-horsepower X3 xDrive35i, the 2011 BMW X3 is more powerful, stylish, efficient and flexible than ever, showcasing a restyled dress, 8-speed automatic transmission with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, three-section folding rear seat and more standard equipment.

The most exclusive highlights for the new-generation X3 Sports Activity Vehicle include: a rearview camera with top view, Blackberry smartphone integration, driving dynamics control and performance control that works with dynamic stability control to combine individual wheel braking with light throttle to help counteract the effects of understeer and oversteer. Furthermore, and for the first time on the X3, a head-up display will be available as an option.
