2010 Toyota RAV4 now offers better equipment at the same price

The compact recreational SUV – RAV4 is now proving its success with a new-look 2010 model. It also features higher equipment levels, revised line-up, better performance and last, but not least the fuel efficiency.

The 2.2 D-4D engine is offered with a new entry-point model in the range, with 2-wheel drive and six-speed manual gearbox. This engine is now available with the top-of-range XT-R trim combined with speed automatic transmission. The 2.0 liter petrol engine with Valvematic put the power on the road through Multidrive S CVT transmission.

The exterior gain a new, wider grille with horizontal blades and chrome accents. There are also new-look headlights, which are integrated in the new bonnet and front wing design. The front bumper is also restyled. The addition of chrome accents to the grille, bonnet moulding and fog lamp surrounds reinforces the premium quality of the new design.

Toyota offers two new colours available for 2010 RAV4: Deep Titanium metallic and White Pearl pearlescent.

The top-of-range RAV4 XT-R AWD is now available with new heated front seats upholstered in  leather and Alcantara combination as standard. Both the AWD na 2WD versions stand on 17" alloys.

The new improved navigation system is available as an option for all trim levels, except in RAV4 SR, where it is a standard.

The improved specification of XT-R grade features cruise control, dual-zone climate control, automatic headlights and wipers, six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, seven airbags, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and rear privacy glass; AWD versions add Intelligent All-wheel Drive and, with automatic and Multidrive S transmission, Downhill assist control (DAC).

The RAV4 SR is offered with the 2.2 D-4D D-CAT engine combined with six-speed automatic transmission. The 18" dark-finish alloys, smoke-finish headlamps, a reversing camera, Smart Entry and Start and over-fenders are other standard extras.
