At the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Saleen Performance Vehicles premiered its latest, ultimate, 2010-based Mustang, named - 2010 SALEEN S281. The new pony car conversion excels with its premium design level and high performance.

The refined SALEEN S281's exterior features redesigned grille and front fascia, extended rear fascia and trunk lid with a simple, elegant, integrated wing. The striking vision is further strengthened by the unique, 20-inch, 7-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso high-performance tires, and Saleen S281 Supercharged fender badging.

Fitted with a Saleen Series VI.5 twin-screw supercharger and dual-stage intercooler, the 2010 S281's 4.6-liter V8 engine is capable to produce 485 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque transferred to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 final drive ratio.

Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a Saleen Racecraft suspension system, which includes single-rate front and rear springs; nitrogen-pressurized front struts and rear; specially tuned front sway bar.

The interior of the ultimate machine is upholsted in special leather with Ultra-Suede inserts.
