Kia has revealed the key details on its new addition, the Kia Soul Echo, a luxury-packed Kia Soul urban crossover aimed to please the customers with features normally offered on much more expensive rides.

Representing the latest model from the Soul Originals line-up – a collection of distinctive versions each with their own distinct personality, the 2010 Kia Soul Echo will be offered with a choice of two exclusive outer shades - Clear White or Quartz Black metallic – both contrasted by few sleek elements. The white Echo renders black 18-inch alloys, black high-gloss door mirrors and a corresponding black sports stripe, while the black variant benefits from white 18-inch lightweight rims, white high-gloss door mirrors and a sports stripe in white.

Under the hood, the stylish new city crossover can be fitted with a 1.6-litre petrol or a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel plant. Its occupants are protected by a host of safety technologies including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Traction Control (TC) and a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

The 2010 Soul Echo is price-tagged at £13,995 on the road, and its stylish, contrasting exterior style is also continued in the cabin, highlighting a full black leather interior and high-gloss black dashboard fascia, as well as premium sound system with subwoofer, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.
